@Roger Magalhaes I know that feeling. It took me and my designer over 100 different designs to land the right one. I almost cry of joy when we locked it.

@Roger Magalhaes Trust me, a part of my soul died during the process.
WD: What part of writing your book has surprised you the most so far?
Open ended question this week. Figured this might drum up some new ideas on ways we can help this community out. :)

The fact that errors and mistakes reproduce when I'm not watching.

@Owen Bergman Hahahaa same here! I just wanted to write a book. But then I wondered: how do people become best sellers? And I went down into a deep rabbit hole. My book will be out next Tuesday April 28th, and people keep asking me "Oh, but isn't it out already? Didn't you finish it months ago?" "Yes darling, one thing is to finish writing the book, the next is to prepare for a good pre-launch, launch and post launch." It's a full time job that has kept me awake at night. It's insane the amount of work behind the marketing part.
What’s one marketing tactic that’s *actually* working for you right now?

@Karlyn Ankrom I think I will, but not right from the get go. I can't do it all. I rather start with one tool, enjoy the process, and then expand. Otherwise it's nuts. There are too many things. Also, I have to consider if shorts is something my ideal client will actually find useful.

@Karlyn Ankrom Karlyn, I have decided to not use Youtube for now (hahahaha). It's too much work and I need to focus on the launch (April 28th) and post-launch. What I'm doing though, it's repurposing my podcast appearances into shorts for my LinkedIn and Instagram. I'm using Descript for it.

ARC REVIEWS - Which Platforms Work Best for You?
I'm excited because I got my final manuscript fully designed and now I've unlocked the next level: ARC REVIEWS. I have read @Julie Broad book but it doesn't mention Book Sirens or Hidden Gems Books, which are recommendations from other sources. What platforms have you used and saw the best results? Thank you.

@Julie Broad I signed up for StoryOrigin but the entire interface's design doesn't help navigate it. I also wrote Evan, the founder, to know if readers there are into nonfiction. For now I'll try one month and see where it goes.

@Julie Broad I just need a platform to put my book in front of early readers like booksirens. I uploaded my book to BookSirens and it was rejected. Then I put it on BookSprouts but a few has viewed it didn't claim. My book is nonfiction and for new managers, so very niche. I can see why it's not popular. So I'm relying heavily on my network :)
