Amazon Ads
I just had my premium 15 minute session with Shane and was truly amazed when he discovered that I actually had several books sales using the campaign that he had set up for me. I thought I was just spending gobs of money so I had turned off the ad. Now it makes sense that the $1200 check I had received from my distributor was from actual sales! Shane is really good at this! Thank you @Shane Vigeant !

So glad to see the ads are working out! Keep at them and feel free to book again with me next month to check in.

@Suzanne Beaver Here's some ideas! Your readers could be: - Feeling like they’re living someone else’s life - Are successful on paper but internally disconnected - Have outgrown hustle culture / traditional success paths - Hit goals but feel empty or misaligned - Ready to move from “optimize my life” → “redefine my life” Authorlaunchkit.com will also generate a ideal reader analysis for you that goes into deep detail on how to understand your audience.
Managing Email Notifications
If anyone thinks Skool notifications are a bit much for your inbox, check out this video showing you how to update your preferences. I recommend doing this so you can pay attention to the email notifications you actually want to see and possibly clean up your inbox a bit because Skool LOVES sending emails 🫠 I added this to the "start here" module as well for easy access.

These are all great ideas!! Happy to see there's a plan in place for a bunch of you already. I don't foresee Amazon going away anytime soon, but it's good to have your own plan in place as well. One main thing we teach is owning your niche. That means putting content out there on socials, on your website, and connecting with audiences to demonstrate your knowledge in a subject. People are online searching for "how to..." and "how do I..." every day. If your book is providing answers to those people thinking about it and searching, you need to let the digital world know! This is how you get found in today's online world. Not just on Amazon.
Book marketing for nonfiction as newbie author
1. My book topic is fitness over 40. 2. My first ebook was published on January 31, 2026, and the paperback was available on March 6, 2026. 3. My biggest challenge right now is book marketing. 4. My goal over the next 90 days is promote my first book effectively for impact and income. I will launch a YouTube channel with the co-author of my next book in March 2026. We expect to release our book by June 2026, all being well. Finally, I need to manage my time effectively since I have a full-time job as an associate professor. Any suggestions?

@Angela Jones @Susan Muir Highly recommend Author Launch Kit, but also go check out the "Classroom" tab in Skool! We have tons of free trainings on Book Marketing in there that will give you a great idea on where to start.
