Help with website
Hello everyone! A little context so my question makes sense… I currently run three businesses in the window coverings industry, each serving a different market: • a high-end, niche turnkey operation in Florida • a national e-commerce platform for DIY customers • installation training for industry professionals On top of that, I host a podcast, and I have a book coming out in the first half of 2026. Right now, I’m building a new website to present all five of these major projects under the "Roger Magalhães brand." My question is: For the Book page on the site, what should I include to make it compelling, informative, and optimized for conversions? What type of content helps visitors understand the value and feel excited enough to purchase or preorder? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance and talk soon.

Hey Roger, good question! I attached some links to book pages I built for clients for some inspiration, but mainly, the key elements to include would be: 1. A 3D Image of your cover (if available) 2. A intro to you, explaining why you wrote the book and who you wrote it for 3. Be very clear on what problem your book solves right away. 4. Testimonials if you have 'em! 5. Make sure it looks good on mobile devices! Other than these key elements, things you could add that add excitement would be: 1. A free downloadable guide, or a free chapter 2. Tiered incentives (buy 1 book get x, buy 5 books get xy, buy 10 books get xyz) 3. Book video trailer https://holleratyourdreams.com/ https://livingbythemantras.com/living-by-the-mantras-book/ https://woodandstoane.com/book/ Hope this helps!
Another #1 Best Seller! 🎉
✅ Just hit #1 Best Seller in Strategic Management! 🎉 Hello Orange badge! 🧡 I used one important strategy from @Julie Broad’s book to do it. Something I’ve asked about here before. Any guesses as to which one it was???

@Jeremy Shapiro Hmmm... 37 reviews in 2 months is pretty good. You've got a couple hundred followers on Medium and a website with lots of content on it. PLUS a website dedicated just for your book with a free chapter Lead Magnet. All good things 😎 I'm gonna guess that you built up a book army of email subscribers before launch so everyone knew right away when your book was available and to go leave a review too!
BIG Improvements Coming to Our Community!
Hey everyone! I’m Shane, Head of Digital Strategy here at Book Launchers. You’re going to be seeing me around this feed a lot more, so I wanted to properly introduce myself. :) I hail from the great state of Idaho, (yes - the one with the famous potatoes) and I’m an avid hockey fan, dog dad, and have most recently been dubbed a “marketing nerd” by some friendly faces here in this community. So, what are these BIG improvements you say?? A More Organized, Step-by-Step Learning Experience: - If you head over to the Classroom tab, you’ll start to see new courses being added. I’m reorganizing everything so your path through writing, publishing, and promoting your book is simple, clear, and easy to follow. A Major Upgrade to Author Launch Kit: - Our book marketing software just got a massive overhaul. I rebuilt ALK from the ground up based on feedback from hundreds of users, and I’ll continue rolling out new features, improvements, and resources to support every kind of book you’re creating. Weekly Tips, Ideas & Discussions: - The BL team and I will be posting regularly—sharing insights, tools, strategies, and prompts to spark discussions around all things book publishing. We want this feed to become one of the most helpful places you visit each week. Premium Access to Deep-Dive Trainings: - We’ve built up YEARS of incredible trainings, expert interviews, YouTube breakdowns, and super valuable resources. Many of these will be available to all members for free (check out the Author Foundations tab!), and we’ll also be introducing a premium tier with access to more advanced trainings and live calls—all at an affordable monthly rate. I’m thrilled to see this community growing into a real hub for authors who support one another while navigating the publishing journey. My goal is to make sure you have every tool, resource, and roadmap you need—right here, all in one place. If there’s anything you’d love to see added or improved as we keep building this space, drop your ideas in the comments! I’d love to know what topics, tools, or support would help you most.

@Tony Jacobsen Sure is, Coeur D Alene is amazing too. I usually go up once every summer!
Re: author launch kit
I understand the software is also for after launch. When I ask to regenerate for post launch and to reset the date to real time. I get one or the other. If it changes the date/year the media suggestion are about the launch. When it changes the media suggestions to post launch the year and month shows the launch year. Is it me?

Hey @Stella Nahatis, thank you for this - The issue you were experiencing came from the prompt not clearly telling the AI to reset both the stage (launch vs. post-launch) and the timeline (real-time year/month) at the same time. Because of that, it would either use the correct stage but the wrong year, or the right year but revert to launch-focused suggestions. We’ve now updated the prompt so it always prioritizes your latest input, applies present-day context, and cleanly separates launch and post-launch strategies — this should resolve the problem going forward.
