Heyo everyone! First post in this community. My name is Alex and I teach music production online with my business Meta Mind Music. I help artists learn how to compose, produce and mix music at a professional level. The way I do it is what's most fun - I streamline the creative process with a robust system by removing all friction from a psychological perspective. Things like understanding cognitive biases, convergent, divergent thinking, etc... Any other musicians/producers in the community? Hit me up! Now for the question... If one is already in a "niche" (music production in my case) should one keep the scope of synthesizing under that umbrella? Stoicism... for music Building habits... for music Understanding the nature of reality... for music (or through music if you ask me) I LOVE the concept of being a synthesizer. I love music, psychology, philosophy, nature and all topics that help us be better humans. I do my best to integrate it into my music-focused content (I think it differentiates me in the space). However, I'm concerned that my audience is mostly focused on music. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Disclaimer, 𝙄 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙜𝙤 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙪𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚 because I think they can be a little tricky to use until every element "clicks". In my experience it doesn't 𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒚 make perfect sense out of the box, and I think it might be more intuitive if you start using notion to simply start it like a linked note tool from scratch, and learn as you go. I had bought both of those, and they've been sitting in my notion, and I've been using a few features of it here and there, very slowly. It's taken me time to actually want to integrate them into my life. My idea is, actually build content plans here within the templates with the aim that it will make it easier to keep thoughts organized. Andrew's advice of basically "use new tools 𝘼𝙎 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢" and also a bit of a notion learning curve applied. My brain didn't synchronize with them originally, and I don't know if it will become second nature, but I'm finding wisdom in organize things this way as I'm working on some execution. Get your notes ready for this one✍️. I have one book in particular mentioned by several youtubers as the REASON they became rich. Hamza and Ali Abdaal are just two examples. Both of them list this particular book as the BEST book on money they've ever read. This book, in question, is the Millionaire Fastlane by MJ DeMarco. and within it is possible the GREATEST financial framework I have ever seen. I remember seeing both of them speak on this book extensively, then telling myself "wow that sounds really cool.... I'll definitely read it soon." and then a year went by lol. but I FINALLY read it last month. and let me just say: this book is a gold mine. it's 500+ pages of brutally detailed, money-making perfection. BUT, not everyone has time for 500 pages. And we are in synthesizer school, so.... I've decided to synthesize this book for you guys. Specfically, I want to give you guys the MOST valuable idea of the book, and the formula all of your favorite creators have been using within their business to stack paper to the ceiling. (I have written a full summary of this book you can read here, but in this post i'm just covering the best part of this book) So here goes nothing: To get rich, we must use the FASTLANE wealth equation.
