Anyone into Music Royaltys?
I was talking to Dear friend Chat GPT and discover this. Looks very interesting !! Has anyone ever had any experience with this? https://auctions.royaltyexchange.com/overview/ I had a brief look at the website, and most of the listings are very expensive not sure if is worth it.

I have some experience. Music royalties are a different beast entirely. Requires a lot of pitching to get your money back, and there is no guarantee. Also, you want to find a song that will actually get placements. Otherwise you are depending on other outlets to recoups.

Can’t make it. Will there be a recording?
Thoughts on coffee date result
I just finished a coffee date a little earlier. We were supposed to have it yesterday but he asked to reschedule once I followed up with him 30 mins beforehand. No problem. We met today and he was late by 20 mins. Okay, it happens. Once on the call, he seems very excited to talk and get things going, but the call was pretty rushed. He said “We’ll make sure to get you a percentage of each sale,” but didn’t take the time to discuss that. He will be sending me a list of interested prospects. (But I already know I won’t start the work until the details line percentage and start times get ironed out.) He also asked my opinion on some email marketing thoughts and I gave him advice about nurture sequences. I clarified that I could help with nurture emails, but that would be a cost as it’s an ongoing thing. he turned that down and said he would get someone on the team to do that. Also, because of the rushed feeling and feeling like I gave him consulting advice for free, I didn’t feel too good after the call. I know it’s an opportunity. I don’t like how it’s being handled on his end though. Have any of you been through something similar? Are these red flags that I should be mindful of?

@Jim Niswonger Thanks for responding. He seemed interested given the initial conversation. These are newer developments. He did mention that no one on his team wants to do this, so there is that.
1 Win and 1 not-so-great
First the not-so-great... I'm in the middle of my first Sales Saver campaign. I'm up to "should I close the file on you?" The offer is SEO software. 3 payment options. Monthly, Lifetime and split pay. I've made 1-lifetime sale so far...which in itself is great. I've made some mullah and learned a hell of a lot about the partners list and most importantly about the sales saver process. I will complete the process and hopefully make a few more sales. I'm pretty pleased regardless. Making some cash while learning is always a bonus. ...now for the WIN. I've just landed my 2nd Sales Saver partner. 🙌 This lady has a massive following in the investment space, has written books, shared stages with Robert Kiyoski and so much more. She does a big launch once a year to her Investment university and runs an evergreen program the rest of the time. She's super aggressive in generating leads to attend evergreen webinars. The main pitch on the webinar is for her investment education program $1500 which she discounts on the webinar to $999. That's the background. This was a tough one to get over the line. It went as follows: I opted into one of her webinars. Received the follow-up sequence. I reached out to her on Linkedin with some clever positioning, echoing one of her quotes. She was intrigued and wanted more info. I replied giving as little info as possible by coming from the Ronin investor stance and left her with the question "What happens to all your unconverted leads after your webinars or your launches?" She went cold for about 3 days and I pinged her again. She asked for me to email more info to her as she doesn't spend much time on Linkedin. So I moved over to email. See screenshot 1. 3 days go by with no reply. I hit her with screenshot 2. Another 4 days go by without a reply. Now I'm thinking I should just drop this but I was inspired by one of @Jim Niswonger posts. Screenshot 3. Thanks a lot, Jim. I think it's verbatim.

This is great to see Craig! Thanks for the transparency around the follow up and congratulations!
Coffee Date Success! Yay!
Just finished my meeting. He has a 40k email list, wants to do less webinar work and focus on higher end activities, and is open to someone handling the emails and back end. He even suggested a percentage split or revenue share. He also said he talked to 8 different people and appreciated how I approached the call because he would approach it the same way. He even said we'll start with a small part of the list...I didn't even need to propose a test! We're continuing the call next Thursday to talk more details. I'm SO excited!!! Thanks for the encouragement! For the next call, I'm thinking about coming into it with the percentage conversation and then figuring out the logistics of handling his setup. Question: There is a lot of other work that needs to be done - transferring his list to another ESP, doing marketing emails (not T1s, but weekly emails), funnel creation, etc. Would you consider that a separate thing that would amount to a one time payout or lump all that work in as a partner?

@Michael Ramirez Thanks for your help! I’ve done them before, but you’re right in saying it’s a separate service.
