New leads, first auction almost confirmed
So, I have people literally reaching out to me to talk about auctions saying "can you do this for me too?" and I haven't even scheduled my first auction yet cause I've been a bit too afraid I might mess up so I'm actually overcomplicating things but getting off that vibe ahah. One guy just reached out to me to see if I still wanted to buy his 10k program on copywriting and I said I've been working on this new hot thing that is helping businesses sell like crazy and he didn't understand and thought I was running ads. I explained again and he told me "can you do this for me?". This guy is a big name who worked with a few VERY big names in the industry, I think even Tony Robbins at some point. If I do this with him, it's going to be HUGE! I'm so excited. Meanwhile I have more leads that I can handle, one multi million dollar business owner who has assets and distribution who wants to do this as soon as possible, hopefully already next week, I mean, I have enough to put the reps in and get better at this. If I play my cards well, I should have 3-4 auctions within the next month or so. On top of that I have a coffee date with a social media manager, which might be a good collaboration, if her clients are big enough. I mean, she literally builds communities for a living ahah

dude. I remind myself of this often... ...because there is so much noise out there... You don't "make money" by being good at offers, or working hard, or writing copy or figuring out AI or even posting feet pics... 👉👉You make money by getting control of something valuable and then renting out access for time, energy, talent, or money. Even feet pics... Who is making more money? The person who "works hard" photographing their feet? Or O.F., who CONTROLS and RENTS OUT...access to eyeballs and "feet." The owner of the Dallas Cowboys probably couldn't quarterback a single game...yet who makes more money? The quarterback? or the owner? There are VERY FEW things a RONIN really needs to practice... 👉SEEING an underutilized asset (Almost every asset is underutilized.) 👉GETTING CONTROL in a way where there is OUTRAGEOUS MARGIN 👉Renting it out in exchange for TIME, ENERGY, SKILLS, money or any cards the Ronin doesn't have in their hand. I really think most Ronin would be better off NOT KNOWING SHIT about copywriting, tech, or how to photograph feet. Cuz then they try to do and BE all that... And none of it helps much. In fact... It just makes them self-conscious about the cards they don't have in their hand...or their "ugly feet." 😆 And it has ZERO to do with them getting rich AF! I hope this helps. In 2026... With our Giving FUNnel and Auctions, we're getting control of assets faster and easier than ever in Ronin history! I'm thrilled to ride with ya! Rooting for Ya, Travis PS I'm still in holiday mode. Happy New Year!

Taker of Time? or Giver of Value?
In the first outreach… The person will make an instant judgement. Is this person a “taker” or “giver”… In seconds… They will be curiously delighted or cough up disgust. Example: The last 3 Skool community owners I was talking to about buying their community… …all asked ME if I’d be willing to help them with monetization as a partner rather than straight purchase. I am NOT suggesting you use “I wanna buy.” as a ploy… It’s just more proof… When you start a convo with something VALUABLE to give… Whether it is… 👉 Advice. Be careful it doesn’t come off as judgement. There is a RIGHT way to do this. 👉 An invitation to a group of like minded people who share common problems. 👉 A gift that has UTILITY Or… 👉 Capital (Financial or relational) When you start out the convo and relationship as a GIVER of value not a TAKER of TIME… They start ASKING YOU for time and partnering. Getting judged as a “taker” is like an 8 year old getting socks for Christmas… Even if the intention was good...Giving is also about perception. If the kid doesn’t want socks (like most peeps don’t want to jump on Zoom)…the interaction will be judged with disgust. Disgust is a bad taste to put in someone’s mouth on the first “hello.” Rooting for Ya, Travis

@Travis Sago Great post T 👊 Perfect timing, I was mid-outreach and realized I need to recalibrate how I’m giving. I was about to offer advice, but caught myself questioning whether that lands as value… or subtle judgment. Is there a specific training or framework where you break down the cleanest “giver” entry points... the kind that naturally leads to them asking about partnership instead of feeling sold?

@Travis Sago GUNG HO? where... can I participate?
The Good, Bad and UGLY of a $174,000 Fun Auction
HUGE THANK YOU to @Nick Roberts and @Marcus Karl for this candid interview. They did NOT sugar coat or gloss over the Bad or the Ugly of this auction. Spoiler alert: Everyone still had fun and $174,000 in sales with $50,000 cash collected. There are HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of creators and influencers with 5,000 or less followers on their FB profiles, Insta, YT channels, Email lists, X, Pinterest that could... Use the same EXACT method that Nick and Marcus did. And it doesn't have to be perfect. Why? Because the auction format is SO FORGIVING! Let's make this a LEARNING thread and ASK any questions you may have! Rooting For Ya, Travis PS I double-dawg dare ya to watch this and NOT lose sleep tonight! The WORLD is OURS! At the end... I gave them a tip to bring in another $100k. In ONE WORD. Then I showed them how to cash flow this for $1 million. PPS If you got anything out of this interview and breakdown, please drop some appreciation for Markus and Nick. They really gave this their all and went into detail!
