How Short LinkedIn Courses Helped Me Level Up for an AI Interview
Hey everyone, I wanted to share something simple but helpful from my interview, something I think many of you will find useful. Recently, I had an interview for a role that required solid AI knowledge. Even though I’ve worked with ML/AI for years, I realized something important: 👉🏻 When you’re deep into some complex concepts and algorithm design, the fundamentals can fade. Interview questions often go straight back to those basics, which happened to me. So I went back to a few short LinkedIn Learning courses, and honestly, they made a difference. 👉🏻 They refreshed concepts I hadn’t reviewed in a while 👉🏻 They were short and easy to fit into my day 👉🏻 They helped me understand and summarize concepts on a single page 👉🏻 They boosted my confidence 👉🏻 They helped me close small knowledge gaps before the interview And here’s the biggest lesson for me: If you see a concept in the job description that you’re not fully confident about, take a short course on it. Even a 30–45 minute micro-course can give you the foundation you need, and you can summarize the key points on one page to review before the interview. Let's consider micro-learning. Keep learning, keep growing, and keep showing up for yourself.
