Hi everyone,

I’m currently exploring Toastmasters clubs in my city because I’m planning to join one soon. I found a club that meets weekly online and hosts an in-person breakfast meeting on the last Friday of each month at a local restaurant.

Before I commit, I’d love to hear from anyone who has looked into Toastmasters clubs in their own city.

My questions for you:

Have you ever evaluated the Toastmasters clubs available where you live?
Do you think online meetings can be as effective as in-person sessions for improving public speaking and communication skills?
If you were in my place, which format would you choose: online or in-person?

The club I found meets every Friday from 7:00 to 8:30 AM, and since it falls within the start of the workday, I’m simply considering whether this schedule would still be manageable for me in the near future.
