I've been chatting to a connection of mine on LinkedIn, when I saw his post I thought it could be a great opportunity for an auction... I think it could be super cool for him. He asked for my opinion on this... my response... "I love this... would you mind if I made some suggestions for how you could leverage the Live ACTi business diagnostic?" 1. How would I intro it, describe the auction? 2. Is there someone in here I can refer him onto? Auctioning Option Questions Legends - First Auction, Baby!
Hi Legends I'm wanting to do 2 to 3 auctions over the next 4 months. I wanna make it super fun. And bring some of my Aussie humour into it as well. I'm going to do it on LinkedIn... and share it in my LinkedIn Newsletter, with a link to the post. Auctioning Access / Experience. And would appreciate your awesome Ronin Mojo minds to help me brainstorm on this. I'm a Resilience and Anti-Fragility Coach and Consultant. I'm wanting to think outside of the box a little here to make it as fun and engaging as possible. I work with Leaders and Teams who are under real pressure, utilising FIREPIT Inner Resilience Compass Framework (my own personal anti-fragility framework that I built, based on decades of coaching and consulting). It's an internal infrastructure designed for Leaders and Teams to leverage adversity and challenges as fuel... Transforming their decision making, how they lead (take faster action, less decision fatigue and emotional pressure, builds more trust in their own judgement, stronger boundaries. The framework itself covers all areas of their life, and absolutely kicks ass when it comes to business and leadership. My packages are over carried out over 90 days in real time via slack. So it cuts out zoom fatigue and meetings... Makes shit happen fast, rather than waiting til next week's zoom call to sort shit out. I've watched the training and read the 🚀 Auction Mojo AMA — A.I. Notes (aka “How to Actually Make This Thing Print Money”) I'd love to brainstorm with you all in here if you wouldn't mind - think outside of the box with what "Access / Experience" looks like... Haunted by potential…
Yesterday I turned 32. A lot of the people I look up to in this game that I’ve met have told me things like “you’re dripping with potential” That I’m right there. And as I turn 32 that same potential that used to excite me has started to haunt me. Multiple times I’ve thought I was knocking on the door of my big break only to let life block me and let the moment slip away. I’ve dealt with real challenges. But everyone has. That’s life. So I sit here this weekend and wonder… am I ever going to kick the fuckin door down? The problem tho is the whole thought process of kicking the door down sounds like your usual grant cardone type of just work harder, grind, push through type of advice. And at the end of the day I’m already a work hard guy. That’s all I do. My job and my life has made me gritty. People talk about being in the trenches while they sit on their laptop lol. My day job is the actual trenches. Sometimes the only answer there is bein gritty as fuck. It’s gotten me far in “real life” But hard work isn’t what’s going to get me where I want. Finding the bandwidth to be creative is the missing key for me and my situation. Sometimes I have it and sometimes I don’t. Being creative, resourceful, and consistent seem to be all that matters. Something crazy happened last night as I was split testing whiskeys 😅 I came to the conclusion that the door doesn’t need to be kicked down. It’s already open. It’s my job to walk through it. That’s our only job.

I made more money DMing auction commenters before the auction than from the auction itself
When I ran my Dead Group Goldmine auction, I made more money by talking to people who commented on my pre-auction post. DM'd every commenter: "Hey [Name]! Thanks for commenting on my post about the dormant group auction. Do you have a group that's been sitting dormant, or are you thinking about starting one?" When they answered, I used X-ray T2 and dug deeper. Whatever they say, your job is to dig deeper. - "Tell me more about that..." - "What else is important to you?" - Get SPECIFIC about what they want Keep them talking. It's rarely the first thing they tell you. The conversations will tell you: - What language THEY use (not your assumptions) - What they're REALLY buying (it's not "dead group revival" - it's something deeper) - What price point makes sense In my case, I discovered that I can also position my strategy for new groups with low active members, instead of just focusing on dead groups. Then everybody interested received a DM: "I'm going to run an auction where the winner gets the exact post structure, positioning, and step-by-step process I used. But before I do that, I wanted to talk to a few people like you to make sure I'm including everything that matters. If you could get your group making [their desired result] - what would be worth paying for that?" This tells you their price sensitivity WITHOUT you throwing out a number first. There were a couple super HOT people, so I DM'd them: "You know what - you seem like exactly the right person for this. The auction might go higher than makes sense for you. What if I just hooked you up directly for $[reasonable number based on their buying history]? Would that work?" Closed them even before the auction started.
