📚 DAY 5: Ask a Question (Reader ↔ Author Connection Day)
Today is about curiosity, not credentials. Whether you’re published or not, your voice belongs on Goodreads.
✅ Today’s Task: Ask 1 Thoughtful Question
Choose the path that fits you:
✍️ If You’re an Author (published or pre-published):
Ask one reader-focused question in:
- A Goodreads discussion group
- A book page discussion
- A reading or genre thread
Examples:
- “What makes you trust a new author?”
- “What do you hope a book leaves you feeling when you finish it?”
- “What’s one thing that makes you recommend a book to others?”
📖 If You’re a Reader (no book published yet):
Ask one favorite author a thoughtful question by:
- Commenting on their book page discussion
- Replying to one of their updates
- Asking in a group thread where the author participates
Examples:
- “What inspired you to write this book?”
- “Was there a chapter that was hardest to write?”
- “What do you hope readers take away from this story?”
