The Split- Book Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Literary Titan just posted a glowing review of our recent Anthology, The Split. Congratulations to all authors: Brandee Melcher, @Dr. Katherine Humphreys , @Carol Britton , @Lesley Goth , PsyD, @Carolina Cifuentes , Sierra Melcher, @Christen Bryce , MS RN, @Allison Banegas , Dr. @Erica Love , @Summer Jean @LaToya Burdiss , and @Jen Kennedy, MPA šŸ‘‰If you have read our book please leave a review on GOODREADS or amazon. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Read the original review "The Split gathers the voices of women who faced the unraveling of marriages, families, identities, and long-held beliefs. Across these stories, the writers look directly at pain, loss, and the complicated paths toward freedom. Instead of treating divorce or separation as a collapse, the book reframes each ending as a turning point where women choose themselves, rebuild their lives, and honor the truth that wholeness can follow even the hardest breaks. By the final pages, the collection stitches together a message that is steady and hopeful. These women are not broken, and they are becoming something stronger. Reading their words, I felt an ache in my chest more than once. The writing is striking in its honesty, and the stories breathe with real life. @Brandee Melcher ’s chapter opens with the raw confusion of childhood and grows into a powerful reclaiming of self, and her voice shook me because of how clear and grounded it becomes. Her journey from chaos to confidence made me root for her, and it reminded me how childhood patterns can shadow adulthood until we finally name them. I also found myself lingering on @Sierra Melcher s reflections on choosing peace over performance. Her reminder that children do not need perfect homes, they need healthy adults, resonated with me personally. The stories impact in different ways, but all of them bring a unique emotional punch.

✨ Writer’s Circle Highlights: ā€œWho Are You Becoming?ā€
Our final session of the year is coming Tuesday. Are you coming? This week's Writer’s Circle was deeply reflective, honest, and powerful. A small group gathered — longtime members and brand-new writers — and what unfolded was healing, creativity, and real courage. One member described the group perfectly: ā€œIt’s like AA for authors — a place where you realize you’re not alone.ā€ Writers shared vulnerability, grief, self-doubt, and big YES energy for their writing dreams. One member wrote her grandmother’s eulogy — and realized: ā€œWriting felt cathartic… like I finally remembered who I am.ā€ šŸŖ„ Words Are Magic We explored the idea that writing isn’t just communication — it’s spell-casting. ā€œTo spell is to turn thought into reality.ā€ What we think and say shapes our lives — especially our inner conversation. šŸŒ’ Solstice + Becoming Sierra led a beautiful ā€œFuture Selfā€ ritual: ✨ Write 13 ā€˜I AM’ statements — present-tense intentions about who you are becoming✨ Burn one each night✨ Keep the final one — the invitation to embody Because: ā€œWhen you say ā€˜I will,’ you separate yourself from the life you want.ā€ This wasn’t a productivity exercise. It was identity-level transformation. šŸ’¬ The Inner Critic Isn’t the Enemy Several writers struggled — especially writing in the present tense. That’s when the conversation turned tender and real. One insight landed deeply: ā€œThe energy we use to suppress parts of ourselves is massive — and wasted.ā€ Instead of silencing your inner critic or wounded self… Invite her in.Give her a seat.Let her be part of the team. One member reflected through tears: ā€œI’ve been shutting down parts of myself instead of accepting them. This helped me see they’ve always been trying to protect me.ā€ That’s the magic of this space. Healing meets craft. Identity meets authorship. 🌟 An Invocation of Your Future Self This session wasn’t about goals or output. It was about becoming. Who are you when you finally believe yourself?Who are you when your voice leads?Who are you when you stop waiting for permission?

@Sierra Melcher it's a slow but encouraging process. Viewing my inner critic as a worry wart rather than a nasty lady. Like you said words have power. When I regurgitate those same words I'm shackling then to myself.
Coming soon... a new babyšŸ“š
In the quiet season... a new baby is brewing... We have another book coming out soon from epic poet @Stacy Dyson
