Three years, four books and four awards later...I still struggle with self promotion and really owning the title of author. I'm in a mentor group for my day job where we're reading the book How Women Rise and it has been very insightful...as well as repeating many things @Sierra Melcher has said about telling people what you're doing. No one know unless you tell them. We all have our own stuff going on so it's easy to not see what other people are up to. And if we have trouble keeping up with others, you know others will have trouble keeping up with us...unless we're talking about it. It is tough and baby steps in 2026 can set major things up for you! Keep being your best cheerleader!

Our newest anthology The Split came out yesterday & to celebrate we had authors & the community on a call... it was beyond amazing. I will be sharing more soon... but in the mean time just know...
