Thin Strip Storage
I seem to collect thin strips of wood; mostly offcuts from when I need to cut down a board to size. Sometimes, what needs to be cut off is only 1/4" or even 1/8". Yet I find those thin strips useful for a variety of projects. The problem has been storing them. Before, they were all jumbled together in one bucket, which made it hard to find the pieces I needed, in the species I wanted. So, I finally made a bit better storage, using some short pieces of PVC pipe. This doesn't take care of everything, as you can tell from the bucket there to the right; but it at least sorts out the types of wood strips I use the most. This is attached to the side of my planer stand, keeping it out of the way.

Turns out nightstands are way more technical than a bed!
Not bad for a first time but it's wobbly and I have a gap on two of the joints. Oh well I guess this one will be on my side of the bed. Lol. Hopefully the next one will go better

Wooden train
I am becoming Grandpaw again for the second time (a boy this time 😉). So, my daughter in law asked me if I could make a wooden train as a display for the little bags of sweet. It should also serve as a toy later on. Since I don't have a lathe I had to saw the wheels and the 'steamchamber' on my drill press (with a hole saw). Needless to say that I spent most of the building time in sanding the wheels and the steamchamber. Finally, I have the train primed. My daughter in law will put the finish on it (🥶). Herewith some pictures of the built. Please note that the wheels are temporarily attached to the chassis (for painting purposes).

Well I really made my bed this time. Guess I'll sleep in it
Made my first piece of furniture. Started wood working 2 years ago been making boxes, cutting boards and other small items. Got the plans from a YouTuber and love how this turned out. Took me about 2 months. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/19QuWHMNNt/?mibextid=wwXIfr
