Wide panel glue ups with rough twisted and cupped lumber
Wondering how to approach this. I have the ability to straighten up to 12” wide lumber effectively but nothing over that. I buy from a local kiln dried luhardwood place and he will plane join etc but it costs extra. So thinking of just ripping to max width I can deal with and then gluing up panels but have never done it with warped twisted cupped wood. Worried about after flattening and straightening the edges not matching up. Any advice?
