Transforming Web Support: A Community Approach
I shifted my team's web support strategy from traditional methods to a community-based model, which resulted in a 50% increase in client satisfaction and significantly reduced workload. Here’s how we did it: 1. Assess Current Support Models: Review your existing support plans. Identify the limitations of traditional models, such as high costs and low interaction. 2. Embrace Community Platforms: Utilise platforms like Skool to create a space where clients can access resources and support. This allows for shared knowledge and collaboration. 3. Implement Proactive Engagement: Shift from reactive support to proactive check-ins. Schedule regular touchpoints with clients, such as every three months, to anticipate their needs. 4. Encourage Client Interaction: Foster a collaborative environment where clients can engage with each other. This enhances their experience and builds a sense of community. 5. Monitor and Adapt: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of your community support model. Gather feedback from clients and make adjustments as necessary to improve the experience. 6. Scale Efficiently: Tap into the community model to support multiple clients simultaneously without increasing your workload. This allows you to maintain quality service while expanding your reach. By following these steps, I transformed my approach to web support, leading to happier clients and a more manageable workload. I encourage you to consider how community support can benefit your own practice. Share your experiences or thoughts on this shift in approach in the comments below! Cheers, Elwyn

Case studies can be a powerful reference point when selling websites
Using on-the-spot case studies is a fantastic way to win new work. As someone in the industry for 20 years, I've seen firsthand how effective this can be. When you quickly reference relevant past projects during pitches, it reassures clients that you can tackle their specific needs. This approach builds trust and helps to highlight your problem-solving skills and industry experience. Here are five tips for using on-the-spot case studies to win new work: 1. Consider a few recent projects that relate to the client's industry or needs. 2. Customize your case studies to address the client’s unique challenges. 3. Focus on measurable outcomes. Share how your work positively impacted previous clients, like increased traffic or sales. 4. Be honest about challenges and discuss the obstacles and how you overcame them. 5. Engage in dialogue and use case studies as a conversation starter. Encourage questions and be prepared to discuss details. How do you use case studies in your pitches?

How we aim to leverage Skool to transform our client support
I don't think I have met a small agency owner or freelancer who loves after-sales client support. Therefore, my jumbled brain has naturally found a solution that INCREASES the amount of support our team will be undertaking in the coming months—but hear me out; it might not be as daft as it first seems! This video covers two ideas rattling around in my head for months... 1. How can we get a better return on customer support 2. Can we offer more support time and value without increasing our hourly rate I think I have a solution, which I have outlined in this video. tl;dr - A private community is our answer... It's often better when we work together! The good news is that this should also work for any service business that offers additional support. As an exclusive opportunity to members of our private community (https://skool.com/pixelhaze-community), I am also building an affiliate system where community members (ideal for those in the web design or digital marketing space) can outsource large aspects of day-to-day support to our Pixelhaze team via the private community in return for a 25% recurring monthly commission . In addition to bringing clients into a community they are already active in, our members can join in the conversation, keeping their service offerings at the forefront of their client's minds. Anyway, I hope this helps to give you an idea of what we are building here! Have you considered running a Skool community to support your clients? Draw on your walls! - How to properly wireframe your websites
In the PixelHaze studio, we have discovered a game-changing technique that will forever transform the way you approach web design. Say goodbye to endless revisions and welcome the chalkboard revolution! By drawing wireframes directly onto our chalkboard-painted walls, we have found an unparalleled way to collaborate with our clients and bring their visions to life. So, why draw on walls, you ask? Well, imagine this: you're standing in front of a pristine canvas, armed with a piece of chalk. As you sketch out your ideas, your imagination takes flight. You can effortlessly map out your website's layout, structure, and user experience, all within a tangible and immersive environment. Every wall is a canvas waiting to be drawn on! But why not jump straight into building the website, you wonder? Here's where the timeless adage "Measure twice, cut once" comes into play. Just as a skilled carpenter meticulously plans and measures before crafting, we believe that a solid foundation is essential for a successful website. By creating chalk sketches, we ensure that every aspect of the design is meticulously thought through, reviewed, and refined. What makes the wall wireframing process truly remarkable is its unparalleled flexibility. With just a simple swipe of the hand, we can erase, modify, or experiment with different ideas. It's a fluid and dynamic approach that empowers us to iterate rapidly, incorporating client feedback in real-time. Gone are the days of cumbersome revisions and costly modifications. The power to refine your website's blueprint lies at your fingertips. And here's the best part: once the wireframe on the wall has been perfected, we can seamlessly translate it into a stunning Squarespace website. By working closely with our clients throughout the process, we ensure that their visions are accurately translated into the digital realm. It's the ultimate fusion of creativity and technology, resulting in websites that not only look phenomenal but also provide exceptional user experiences.
