Rolex DJ41, AD pick up
I walked into one of the AD’s in the San Diego area and looking and tried on several. I also jokingly asked what they had to sell me. The sales woman said, “Oh we have this Date Just 41mm, silver dial in Jubilee if you want it.” I was floored, no history at this one and was more joking. Long story short…. Technically it was a business purchase, so it is for sale also. Still counts as my first victory at an AD!

Time is important
When Adam and Eve did the first sin and got kicked out of the garden, they didn’t know God had a trap door and they got dropped into a time line. The devil didn’t know this, before the sun there was no time or time line which we live in right now! He needed the time line to to send Jesus and set things right and give humans another chance !! So while you look at your watches , and when u look at. Tombstone , realize how important the time you wear is truly important!!!
Not Name Brand
Good morning ladies and gentlemen, Not too long ago I was out of town and I actually forgot my watch or rather a more classy watch to wear to dinner. We had went to a flea market and I found this watch there, it is not a name brand or expensive but I loved the look of it. And let me tell you I have gotten more compliments on this watch that I would have very imagined! People see it and are always complimenting on the look and style. It’s not expensive or fancy but the look of it I love and the feel of it worth every penny and more. It met he need when I needed it.

So I did a thing….
I started 2026 with a list. I said I was going to allow myself three watch purchases through out the year. One would be a Hamilton Khaki Field Watch, one a Dan Henry, maybe, 1962 Daytona, and at the constant urging of @Warren Money and the sharing of @Chad Smith, @Scott Critchfield, and others and their appreciation of the Erebus brand, I wanted a MOP. Well, I’m down to two watches that are planned and budgeted for now in 2026 as I welcome the Erebus Mother of Pearl to my collection today. She’s a lovely addition to the collection and will be worn proudly starting a week from Monday as she’s going to make the work trip to Kansas City with me, considering a nice bump in sales with a timely search allowed me to purchase her earlier than expected.
