How to convert sheet to solid (apple watch course)

Hello,

I was ready to cut the body, but I noticed that it's empty (this also happened in the tutorial).

My problem is that the body is a sheet instead of a solid (see the left part of the picture). I don't know how I did that, but I wanna know if it's possible to convert sheets to solids.
