How do I make a cylinder really smooth

Happy Friday everyone ☺️

I am trying to create a smooth cylinder using the cylinder tool...but when I create the cylinder and then zoom in it doesnt look smooth...it's kinda 'faceted'...any suggestions on how I can make it truly smooth?
