Weekly Book Recommendation
Hey team, here's a quick summary of the book by Jeff Olson I have finished reading. Summary: The Slight Edge 📈 The main idea is that massive success comes from small, simple, positive actions repeated consistently over time. Here are the key points: * Small Actions Matter Most: 🥇 The secret to success isn't one giant leap or "lucky break." It's the small, simple disciplines you do every single day (like reading 10 pages, saving a little money, or making one extra call). * "Easy to Do, Easy Not to Do": 🤷‍♂️ The problem is that these small actions are just as easy not to do. They seem insignificant. Skipping one workout or eating one fast-food meal doesn't hurt you today. * The Power of Compounding: ⏳ This is the most important part. Those small actions (or inactions) compound over time. In the beginning, you can't see any results, which is why most people quit. * The Two Curves: 📉📈 This is the graph! * Simple, positive actions repeated over time put you on the Success Curve. * Simple errors in judgment (like not doing those small things) repeated over time put you on the Failure Curve. * Time is the Key: ⏰ The book shows that at the start, the two curves are almost identical. But after a few months or years, they are worlds apart. The positive actions lead to exponential growth, while the small neglects lead to a steep decline. The takeaway: Don't look for a "quantum leap." Just focus on doing the small, positive, simple things every single day. The power is in the consistency!

Travelling
Taking advantage of a 5 hour layover between flights. Got 10k steps in and have two hours to go. May get another 5-6K in. Also packed food from home to avoid unhealthy eating at airport eateries. #PlaningIsKeyToWinning #WinningIntentionally
My Daily Wake Up Call
I wrote this during the weekend. I am reading this every morning as soon as I wake up, to set the tone for the day. (Sharing it here, if you find it useful) ***** WAKE UP. You are drowning in noise. Clickbait. Cheap dopamine. You're being entertained into a coma, and you're calling it "life." You talk of Karma? Karma is not your nanny. It is your mirror. Karma isn't a reward program. It's an accountant. It keeps score. Karma isn't a gentle lifestyle choice. It's the universe's law of cause and effect. It's the receipt for your actions, and it is non-negotiable. Stop waiting for "amusement" to trick you into doing the right thing. Forget the endless debate of "right" and "wrong." That’s a game for philosophers who have time to waste. That’s the debate of the paralyzed. Your life boils down to ONE TRUTH: RESPECT THE RESIDENCE. You have been given a body. A mind. A soul. This is the divine architecture of your life. Your body is the only vessel you get - not a garbage disposal Your mind, the only tool - not a trash bin for cheap media Your soul, the only fire - not a dying ember. And you are letting them rust. You are desecrating the only temple you will ever truly own. How dare you treat it like a slum? So rise. Burn the clutter. Silence the confusion. This is the moment. And you have one choice. REASONS or RESULTS? Your list of excuses, or the one life you were meant to build? Your comfort, or your consequence? The consequences don't care about your excuses. In every single moment, you are at a crossroads. Today, you decide. Will you be the man who has reasons why he couldn't? Or the man who has results because he did? You must choose. Because the bill always comes due. The clock is ticking.
Small Wins
I wanted to do two things for this birthday - two things that were outside my comfort zone. And I didn’t want to talk too much about it, I wanted to finish them first. 1) To be a lead singer in a recital at the temple (done last night) 2) To run 5 km at a pace better than my normal running pace. (Just finished) my usual running pace was 9 min per km. I aimed for 8:30, but came in at 8:23. My wife (she is a 12-time full marathoner) ran with me to help keep my pace, though she had a headache and her feet still hurt. This is the first time she ran in almost four weeks. I wouldn’t have achieved the pace without her help. God bless her.
