💪 HEALTH & WISDOM: CARING FOR THE BODY GOD GAVE YOU
Proverbs teaches that health is more than physical strength — it’s a reflection of your inner life, your habits, and the wisdom guiding your daily choices. When your health is strengthened, your purpose is strengthened. Here are a few Proverbs insights to keep in front of you today: 🫀 1. A Peaceful Heart Strengthens the Body “A peaceful heart leads to a healthy body…” — Prov 14:30 Stress steals strength. Peace restores it. Protect your inner world. 😄 2. Joy Is Fuel for Your Health “A cheerful heart is good medicine…” — Prov 17:22 Joy isn’t a luxury — it’s part of your wellness routine. Gratitude, laughter, connection… they all heal. 🧠 3. Guard What You Allow Into Your Mind “Above all else, guard your heart…” — Prov 4:23 Your thoughts affect your health. Worry, resentment, and fear weaken you. Wisdom strengthens you. 🕐 4. Small Daily Habits Shape Your Future “The prudent see danger and take refuge…” — Prov 22:3 Your future health is created by today’s decisions — hydration, rest, movement, boundaries. 💬 5. Life-Giving Words Bring Healing “Gracious words… bring healing to the bones.” — Prov 16:24 Speak life over yourself. Over your body. Over your day. 💡 Reflection for Today: Which area of your health needs the most wisdom today — physical, emotional, or spiritual? Share below so we can grow stronger together. 🙌🔥

💪 HEALTH & WISDOM: Guarding the Body God Gave You
One of the most overlooked themes in Proverbs is HEALTH — not just physical strength, but the wholeness that comes from aligning your body, mind, and spirit with God’s wisdom. Here are a few Proverbs principles that shape a healthy life: 🫀 1. A Peaceful Heart Strengthens the Body “A peaceful heart leads to a healthy body…” — Proverbs 14:30 Stress drains us. Peace restores us. Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is rest and breathe. 😄 2. Joy Is Medicine “A cheerful heart is good medicine…” — Proverbs 17:22 Joy isn’t optional — it’s therapeutic. Laughter, gratitude, and fellowship literally heal. 🧠 3. Guard Your Mind — It Shapes Your Health “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” — Proverbs 4:23 Your thought life affects your physical life. Anxiety, bitterness, fear — all of it takes a toll. ⚖️ 4. Self-Control Is a Health Principle “Like a city whose walls are broken through is a person who lacks self-control.” — Proverbs 25:28 Food, habits, sleep, routines — discipline builds a strong foundation. 💬 5. Wise Words Bring Healing “Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.” — Proverbs 16:24 Speak life over yourself. Speak life over your body. 🔥 Reflection for Today: Which area of your health needs the most wisdom right now — physical, mental, or spiritual? Day 230 Faithfulness
As I read today’s proverb I hear about staying humble and receiving Gods correction to be wise as opposed to rejecting it and going down the path of fools. This reaches my heart today as I will be having my first peer review to evaluate my teaching and give me feedback on how to improve. I have asked God for humility today as I am being watched and when I hear the feedback not take it personally but see where I can do better.
Day 229
Proverbs 10 today and the Holy Spirit guided me to do a deeper dive into the word Iniquity. Here is what I found: The word iniquity in the Bible means deep moral crookedness — not just doing wrong once in a while, but having a bent heart or twisted character that continually leans toward sin. - In Hebrew, the word is ʿāwon (עָוֹן), meaning perversity, depravity, guilt, or moral distortion. - It’s related to the idea of something bent out of shape — like a twisted beam that can’t stand straight. So while sin often refers to missing the mark (like an arrow that misses the target), and transgression means rebellion(breaking a rule or boundary), iniquity describes the inner corruption that produces those outward actions There is always so much more for me to understand as opposed to just reading a word and thinking I understand.

Repent
🛠 As a mechanic, one thing I’ve learned over decades of repairing and rebuilding many different things is this: Every piece of equipment was designed by a creator who knows more than I do about how it works. When I get stuck, I reach for the manual or the engineer’s notes — because the one who made it understands it best. Life is no different. For years I tried to be “my own man,” relying on my experience, my knowledge, my grit. It always left me struggling and, if I’m honest, heading toward destruction. When I finally stopped trying to do it all myself and put my faith in Jesus Christ, everything changed. The peace that “passes all understanding” that the Bible talks about? It’s real. It’s steady. It’s been my anchor ever since. If you’re searching for answers, direction, or peace in your own life, let me gently ask: Who are you turning to? The Creator knows His creation better than anyone — and that includes you!
