🛠 As a mechanic, one thing I’ve learned over decades of repairing and rebuilding many different things is this:
Every piece of equipment was designed by a creator who knows more than I do about how it works. When I get stuck, I reach for the manual or the engineer’s notes — because the one who made it understands it best.
Life is no different. For years I tried to be “my own man,” relying on my experience, my knowledge, my grit. It always left me struggling and, if I’m honest, heading toward destruction.
When I finally stopped trying to do it all myself and put my faith in Jesus Christ, everything changed. The peace that “passes all understanding” that the Bible talks about? It’s real. It’s steady. It’s been my anchor ever since.
