Why: Most of us spend our days in a low-grade state of hurry. The nervous system doesn’t know the difference between a deadline and a threat. Today we start with the simplest reset there is.
The Tool: 4-7-8 Breathing
• Inhale through your nose for 4 counts
• Hold for 7 counts
• Exhale slowly through your mouth for 8 counts
• Repeat 3–4 cycles
