Authenticity vs. Perfectionism
How much of your "perfection" is actually yours? For many of us, being conditioned to always be perfect and excellent started early. Whether it was: ✨ parental requirements ✨ society requirements ✨ religious requirements The message was the same: there is no room for humanness or human nuance. When we live this way, we are constantly seeking validation of existence outside of ourselves. We begin outsourcing our self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-worth to the highest bidder—usually through too much worry about external judgment. True healing is about reclaiming the right to be "messy" and authentic. It’s time to stop performing and start living. You don't need a perfect record to be worthy of your own love. Ready to trade perfection for authenticity? First Lesson is available 🚀🚀

Authenticity vs. Perfectionism
Silence is Survival, Until it Isn't
If you were silenced as a child, you weren't just being "quiet"—you were being conditioned. That conditioning teaches a child that their voice isn't safe. Over time, it creates attachments rooted in fear. You learn to avoid speaking truth or advocating for yourself just to keep the peace or avoid abandonment. This is why, as adults, we often find ourselves stuck in one or both of these extremes: ✨ we stay too long in situations that don't serve us ✨ we leave too soon before things can actually grow Reclaiming your voice is the first step to healthy relationship with self and healthy attachments with others. Are you ready to break the silence? 🗣️⛓️‍💥 We Launch on April 24th 🚀🚀
Silence is Survival, Until it Isn't
The Boundary Hangover
Have you ever said "no" and then felt like you did something wrong? That’s the people-pleasing conditioning kicking in. When you’ve spent a lifetime prioritizing people’s needs over yours and believing you always have to be "on," taking your power back feels dangerous to your nervous system. This is why your body feels jittery and off-kilter after you finally speak up. It’s just your nervous system recalibrating. Enforcing a boundary or choosing to take rest isn't a betrayal of others; it's an act of loyalty to yourself. Even if you find yourself second-guessing your decisions or feeling guilty, stay the course. You have a right to say no. 🌿🧘🏾‍♀️ Ready to stop the guilt cycle? 🚫⛔❌🛑 First Lesson is Now Live 🚀🚀

The Boundary Hangover
Welcome to The Inner Work Academy!
I am so glad you found your way here ❤️ If you are reading this, it means you’ve taken a courageous first step to understanding the parts of yourself that have been waiting to be seen, heard, and healed. The Inner Work Academy is a sanctuary designed for deep, gentle transformation. This is where we bridge the gap between the mind and the body—using emotional literacy to name our needs and sound healing to release what no longer serves us. What to Expect in This Community: - A Safe Container: This is a judgment-free zone. We are all here to unpack our childhood wounds and navigate our shadows together. - Practical Tools: You’ll find lessons on identifying emotional triggers and naming unmet needs. - Somatic Release: We integrate sound healing to help regulate your nervous system as you do the deep work. Introduce Yourself Below! Healing happens in connection. Comment below and tell us: - What drew you to the Academy? - One "need" you are learning to name for yourself lately. - Your favorite way to relax (music, nature, silence?). I am honored to walk this path with you. Let’s begin the work of returning to wholeness together. Lisa Thomas Founder of The Inner Work Academy
