Is This a Contender Filipino Recipe ?
Sherly cooked this yesterday and I thought this just maybe an awesome Filipino recipe to share with you all next and upload into the Classroom. It’s a simple grilled pork with fresh cucumber and tomato with vinegar. I really enjoyed it. Is this a contender? I think it is hehe. Let me and Sherly know in the comments below and if you want this one as an up coming recipe?

Mandarin Spray For Kitchens
Not exactly a recipe I guess but don't know where else to put it lol.. I have a large massive fruiting mandarin outside my kitchen window. I gave most fruit to Foodbank but had heaps left over... mmm what to do lol..I made jam, but with the skins, I filled glass jars with them added cloves and a cinnamon stick then immersed it all in white vinegar, just left em on the windowsill.. (recipe from off the net somewhere) waited 2-3 months.. Today I filled a spray bottle and it works a treat..the kitchen smells beautiful and it's sposed to be antibacterial...so easy (This is actually a recipe for orange skins)

Canning
I’ve been slowly collecting canning equipment. It can be a bit pricey so just buying some here and there. At the moment I’m dehydrating, freezing, juicing, jam making and eating fresh. Only ever made large amounts of tomato sauce in beer bottles on open fires in 44 gallon drums as a child growing up. I’ll be very interested in any recipes or knowledge on canning.

Tomato Bacon and Cheese on top of Baked Choko
This is an easy way to turn chokos into a meal. Simply slice in half lengthways, remove seed and boil till tender (about 15 mins for medium chokos).Place in a baking tray and scoop out a little more from where the seed was. Fill with diced bacon, finely chopped tomato and grated cheese. Bake in a moderate oven for 20 minutes then enjoy while hot. This recipe was from @Steve Thomas our VIP member. He sent this to me and I like it so much I decided to posted it in recipes from the Garden Our Chokos in the garden are about to start setting fruit so this will be on the menu. Will you give Steves recipe a go? Maybe you have something different to share in the comments below with us all. Happy Gardening Marty
