@Charlene R the protected pot is a great idea. I’ve tried a couple times here in Melbourne but haven’t had much luck but giving it another go soon. Does the vine produce much or do you pit several close together to get a good harvest?

Garden update ...
I have been a bit distracted with"life " in the last while. I have ordered supplies and then December will see me finish the chaos garden and I am hoping to start 90 new seedlings. Following along with your bread story, I made classic white and herb/garlic yesterday. During the week I hope I get time for some potato bread. I miss it πŸ˜‚ It's hot at the moment where I am 40 today... Too hot for me.

For some reason the top bulbils are huge this year. The bottom onion is gigantic too. I dunno what I did but it's working lol
