I just wanted to let you all know I have decided to retire from Marty's Garden and the online world of gardening. I want to thank everyone for their support over the years. Everyone has been awesome and it's been an amazing journey of over 15 years I will close this account in a couple of days. Ok I guess I will answer what your all thinking and it’s unanimous who did the best I would like to congratulate myself on winning this challenge it was tough competition but in the end I was the only one who voted so clearly I will accept the award on my own behalf and take a lap you all tried really hard but sorry can only be one winner but participation trophies are in the mail.

Just got of the phone with my beautiful bride only to find that when I get back not only do I have to finish my large round garden bale project, but now I have to build some new fencing and a revamp on a chicken coup. Seems I have inherited in my absence a female emu, 2 jersey heifers, 4 alpacas and unknown number of chickens. My only natural response was with my natural sarcasm was. “Was it to difficult to just find a partridge in a pear tree” and yes she knows me well so it was just laughter and time I get to put you to work, god I love my queen.

They are getting pretty close to me putting them into where I need to.. possibly later this weekend I want to get my corn in first because my corn is going to go behind

Not so with the Indian miner. I wish I could have chickens to chase them out. Going to have to put something else in the garden bed to fill the open areas.
