🧠 My honest thoughts on the Facebook changes everyone’s talking about
I’ll be real.
I haven’t been an active Facebook user in a few years.
Most of my clients come from Instagram or referrals, and Facebook has often felt… cluttered. Busy. Loud. Hard to focus.
That said, I know a lot of smart business owners who get incredible results there. Communities thrive. Relationships are built. Sales happen.
So when I saw the upcoming layout changes Facebook is testing, my first thought wasn’t panic.
It was… relief.
A more visual, streamlined feed could actually make Facebook easier to use and easier to create for. Less noise. Clearer signals. More intentional content.
What stood out to me most (and this matters):
Text-based content isn’t disappearing.
If anything, it may stand out more when paired with intention and clarity instead of filler visuals.
This isn’t about chasing every platform shift.
It’s about understanding how people are consuming and choosing formats that support real connection and conversation.
Credit where it’s due: Molly Mahoney sparked this conversation and shared great insight on what’s coming.
Curious…
If Facebook felt less cluttered and more focused, would you show up there differently?
👇 Let’s talk about it.
