University: To go or not to go
Hey synthesizers!
The decision to not go to university was the toughest decision of my life. Mostly because my own dreams were out of alignment with the dreams that my family, friends, peers and society had for me.
Instead of getting a degree I became a musician, travelled for 3 years, built and shut down a $53,657+/yr agency and did loads of other cool (in my mind) things.
Now I'm all in on synthesizing (twitter) and building a community to help people make the decision as to whether or not university is the best option for them.
I thought I'd reach out to you guys to see what your thoughts are on going to university.
No doubt some of you have been, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the value it provided you.
For those of you who haven't been, Why not? What was your thought process behind the decision.
I'm hoping to get a heated Facebook-style debate going in the comments (only joking).
