hi guys , I want to share a quick experience of mine , I've been struggling with my over-consumption of content , but lately I've been able to solve , this is how I did it :
- ask the following questions to find relevant resources :
- does this answer a question I've asked ? (most content get shoved in your face without asking)
- does this solve an important, frequent, or urgent problem ? (journal to figure out what problems you have first)
- is this on my level (if it's too obvious or too advanced then it's not)
2. reduce the personal/external content ratio :
- your own thoughts will always be more relevant than content from elsewhere
- quality deep learning on a few external resources is much better than quantity
3. organize what you consumed by it's future use :
- rank it by how soon you will use it , and group it by the future situation you will need it in
