Huge Win For The Team: Just Past 60,000 Subscribers!
My brother is a very well known public figure when it comes to personal safety and firearms training. We decided about 3 years ago to start taking all content platforms seriously and we've been posting consistently 2x a week ever since.
The real turning point for us was when we decided to study the markets behavior when it came to consuming content and we starting noticing patterns which we applied right away that gave us a huge spike in subscribers and overall followers across all platoforms.
Lessons We've Learnt:
~
1- RIDING THE PLATFORMS ALGORITHMS - Play to the biases of the algorithm on all patforms. Example: When instagram, Tiktok, Youtube Shorts & Facebook started pushing short form content we capitilized on that by switching our strategy to primarily short form content. This helped us ride the wave that gave the channel over 30,000,000 Million views and an added 40,000 Subs in just under 4 Months.
2- THE HACK FOR CREATING A DIE-HARD FAN BASE - I noticed that a lot of massive creators like Nelk, SteveWillDoIt, ishowspeed, JiDion & Sidemen not only had big audiences but the fans were die-hard cult-like followers. The really clear common pattern between all these channels was the aspect of personality and comedy. The importance of this is to realize a lot of people watch content creators take a break from life and relax and if you can provide an emotion of happiness and smiles they will connect to you like no other.
3- DISTRIBUTION - With each social platform having a specific type of audience we decided to create evergreen content that related to everyone. This gave us the advantage of mass market appeal so no matter where you saw our videos we had content that was digestible and easy to understand.
4- LEVERAGE - Collaborations have been a massive part of our strategy. We've done collaborations on every platform with creators in our niche and it not only gave us brand awareness but it also grew our audience massively. The key here is to provide value to the creator's audience you're collabing with so they have a reason to follow you.
