David Sinclair has recently become quite popular in the health space so I decided to make a full guide of how to live a long life based on a lot of his content, and the rabbit holes it led me down.
This video has been in the works for too long. I certainly learnt a lot from this project about my process and how it can be improved. I also did not expect the video to be this long, but I now realise I did tackle a mammoth field in one video.
Feedback is appreciated.
Here is the synthesis of the video:
- Exercise
- Don't eat too much/ be overweight
- Maintain a good level of strength & muscle
- Get a good amount (& high quality) sleep
- Have a good sense of purpose & community
- Manage (long term) stress levels
- Spend time in the sun & nature
- Hot and cold exposure to activate "longevity genes"
- Avoid damaging substances
- Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy seems to be beneficial (but hard to access right now)
Supplements also may have benefits but I would focus on these things first. They are much cheaper and more likely to work.
