An ABSURD Idea: 0 to 10,000 followers in 30 days
Yes, this really is a crazy (albeit, totally doable) idea.
I am not committing to this yet, but wanted to see if anyone else in this group is crazy enough and at a place in their life where they would want to embark on this quest with me. Specifically in the format of a close-knit obsessed mastermind for the next 30 days where we would all grow our followers independently to over 10,000.
The logic behind this:
  1. Andrew Kirby has a Synthesizer University Mastermind which he has posted costs "4 figures" and requires at least 10,000 followers (and his approval) to join.
  2. Undoubtedly, being in that group would eventually create financial freedom (6 months - 3 years) for anyone who can take feedback and take consistent focused action. *Insane $$$$ ROI*
  3. Synthesizing is super fun. "hence the great online GAME" Creating and giving value to others is one of the most meaningful things I could do with my time.
Would be looking for 4-5 people:
  1. Who aren't afraid of looking stupid and making mistakes (putting out non-polished, but very valuable content in a mad dash to the finish line) NOT PERFECTIONIST
  2. Who can commit to doing almost nothing else in the next 30 days (able to take a vacation for 30 days or are unemployed with savings). And has 1-3k on top of living expenses to supercharge their business.
  3. Positive and growth-focused. Don't complain that they're not getting results, just ask how they can be better.
  4. Have at least some rudimentary track record of making content/ taking action (not just wishful thinking).
I currently own a hotel with my ex (long story) and have an opportunity for her to buy me out-- which would easily bankroll the next month of my living expenses. 10,000 seems like a daunting goal until I realized that it would take just one repost by someone with a million-person audience to hit that. Also, doing giveaways ($20 drawing to new subs), pestering friends and family to follow (or really every contact in my phone), creating viral content...
The heroic quest of hitting 10,000 followers in one month is a HUGE hook in itself (think of PewdiePie vs. T-series, Ryan Tehran's quest to bring a penny to Mr. Beast, trying to beat doctor Phil's subs to get him to adopt, etc.).
If I was someone who was interested in making a full-time income from synthesizing, I would support by subbing and check-in in on progress and share almost regardless of the content. There also is a HUGE market of kids and young adults out there who want to grow up to be YouTubers and would root for the success of the journey. I think it's very possible that some mega influencers might be sympathetic to the cause as well provided they could see our massive, consistent action.
And the success of this (especially if we ALL succeed), definitely has the ability to go viral and get us to 100k. What an inspiring story to tell... "It's not luck, ANYONE can do what they love and make a living from it".
Anyway, I'm open to thoughts, questions, criticism, and excitement down below. Just let me know. :)
UPDATE 11/24:
After interviewing potential candidates we have decided that we will likely be starting the official challenge January 1st, 2023-- with a few preparatory masterminds before the 1st.
We have also collectively decided to enter into a "suicide pact" of sorts. If anyone who is participating in the challenge is unable to hit the 10,000 followers required, we will all delete our channels (videos will not be required to be deleted). Essentially we are burning the ships behind us! ⛵🔥🔥🔥
This is why it is only fair to myself and the other candidates to accept those into the group who are able to focus 100% of their energy to this task!
We have around 3 spots remaining, so if interested send me a DM quickly before time runs out!
