Another contract.
Not here to brag but to encourage other newbies. If you work the system, the system works. I started calling about 2 hrs a day back in the beginning of January. I was focused on excess proceeds in Arkansas while my Pennsylvania state application was being processed. I sent that in the beginning of December and it finally went through end of January.
I’ve spent a few weeks wrapping up some applications and loose ends with Arkansas and just started Pennsylvania calling this week. Got another contract sent out!! This time I took the time to really set things up for my next moves. This gal wanted me to mail the contract to her which was fine. I confirmed that there was a UPS store nearby and suggested I could have them print and notarize the contract all at once. She agreed and is going to sign it tomorrow.
I also planted the seed that this is the initial step in a longer process. (My first deal in Arkansas is really slowing down due to the fact that I didn’t prep the claimant that the initial paperwork is only the first step. She is really dragging her feet getting the necessary documentation together now). Pennsylvania client understood and was more than happy to hear that even though it’ll take 5-6 months for a payday, her journey to recovering $175k starts now!!
Get your list, skip trace, set up a lead sheet, start calling, sign contracts, submit applications, get paid. 7 step process is all it is!
Keep grinding folks!!
