🦃 Thanksgiving Week Health Tips
1ļøāƒ£ Move with intention — even 10 minutes counts. A brisk walk or a quick strength circuit… it all boosts insulin sensitivity and keeps inflammation down. 2ļøāƒ£ Protein + color at every meal. Before the big feast, aim for a protein-forward breakfast (20–30g) and toss in something colorful and fibrous. Protein stabilizes blood sugar, fiber helps your gut, and together they keep you from overeating. 3ļøāƒ£ Hydrate Water helps digestion, keeps cravings calmer, and offsets salty holiday foods. Stay grateful, stay grounded, stay hydrated… And enjoy your turkey day without the guilt spiral. šŸ§”šŸ‚šŸ˜„

Holiday Stress
Okay, I have to ask… is anyone else already feeling that low-key holiday pressure creeping in? šŸ˜… You know — trying to wrap up work, keep the house semi-presentable, show up for your people, and still somehow ā€œsoak it all inā€? Let’s take a breath together. This space isn’t about pretending everything’s fine — it’s about keeping it human. So tell me: šŸ‘‰šŸ» What’s one thing that always stresses you out around the holidays? šŸ‘‰šŸ» And what’s one thing that actually helps you feel grounded this time of year? No polished answers needed — just real talk.
Mindset Monday
How was your weekend? What’s one step you’ll take this week toward your health & fitness? Mine is getting back into my bedtime routine… normally I’m in bed between 9:30-10 pm and lately I’ve been staying up and reading my book… which is making my mornings harder… I need my 7-8 hours of sleep
DNA test
First time in a few weeks I’m finally feeling good. I was diagnosed with S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder)… something that I knew deep down I probably had, but finally a relief to put a label on it and knowing there’s nothing ā€œwrong with meā€ Last year at this time I took a DNA & Methylation test that pointed to these markers, and now I’m taking extra precautions to increase certain vitamins that my body needs, but I did also start on a low dose of anti-depressants and will continue that until daylight savings time again, along with talking to my therapist. It’s so important to keep yourself healthy mind, body, and soul (which ironically is printed on my tank today). There is a $40 off coupon for the DNA test I took last year… If you’re interested in learning more, let me know.
