I’ll test myself next week and I’m a bit lost on how to prepare most efficiently to maximize my chances of hitting PRs. My plan was to space out training sessions as much as possible to avoid fatigue and PRs affecting each others.
My last training session was yesterday (Friday), so I planned to try for bench press PR on Monday, squat on Thursday and deadlift on Sunday, no sessions in between (unlike my 4 day split), no accessory work.
Is that really necessary, or should I just do my standard 4th (final) week of my strength block and do rpe 10s instead of usual 8-9s?
