IGNITE: 8 WEEKS COMPLETE
Eight weeks ago, we started with a simple goal:
Build the foundation.
Not chase fatigue.
Not see how much weight we could move.
Not cram more training into an already busy triathlon schedule.
We wanted to move better, build strength and control, and start making strength training a consistent part of being an endurance athlete.
And now — 8 weeks and 12 workouts later — Ignite is complete.
Take a minute and think back to where you started.
The movements that felt unfamiliar should feel more natural.
The positions that were difficult to control should feel stronger.
You should have a better understanding of when to progress, when to back off, and what quality strength training actually feels like.
And maybe most importantly, you’ve proven that strength training can fit alongside swim, bike, and run trainingwithout needing to take over your life.
Before we move on, I want you to answer three questions:
1. What improved the most over these 8 weeks?
2. What still needs work?
3. Were you more consistent with strength training during Ignite than you were before we started?
Don’t worry about giving me the “right” answer. I want the real one.
Because where you are now matters for what we do next.
Ignite was about building the foundation.
Next, we’re going to spend some time making sure that foundation moves well.
RESTORE is coming next.
But first — take a minute and recognize the work you just put in.
8 weeks. 12 workouts. One stronger foundation.
Nice work.
