🐾 Introduce yourself and your Sprintugwalk Companion!
Welcome to Sprintugwalk! This is our playground — a space for joy, movement, and connection. Let’s start by meeting the real stars of this adventure: you and your dog! 📸 Post a photo (no videos here please) of you and your Sprintugwalk companion — you can add a few words of course, but we’d like at least an image that captures your vibe. Whether you’re out in nature, mid-sprint, or just chilling together, share your moment here. Let’s fill this space with wagging tails, muddy paws, and smiling faces! When that is done, you can: - Àhead to the classroom for an intro to Sprintugwalk - Start talking to other members and get to know the community!

Touch target
Today, I’ve taught my dog to touch a target (a colorful lid) with her PAW, on command. She knows many tricks (the basics, of course, like sit and stay, but also, jump in the air on command, turn, roll, slalom between my legs as I’m walking, touch my hand with her nose, bark and shut up on command, things like that. (Yes, I taught her to bark on command so I could also teach her to be quiet on command…) 😊 But touching something with their paws instead of their mouth doesn’t come naturally for a dog. And today, she GOT it! Touching a target with her paw on command opens the possibility of teaching her MANY new tricks. Sprintugwalk is fun. So is teaching tricks! 😊

Sprintugwalk video coming
I was out filming with my dog yesterday. I discovered how difficult it was to film with her, she was so excited, like she was sensing something was unusual. I probably have enough footage to make a short video, we’ll see. But here is a photo of Chanel in the woods…

🐾 The Sprintugwalk Intro Course
🐾 Welcome to Sprintugwalk!
Sprintugwalk is a natural, joyful approach to outdoor activities. It’s born from a simple need: to exercize freely, without gyms or rigid routines. It’s a living practice where play, connection, and nature come together. It all started with a real-life challenge: trying to integrate HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) into my daily routine… with a happy, high-energy Aussie jumping, tugging, running, and turning every workout into joyful chaos. Instead of fighting it, I turned it into flow: a living HIIT, guided by my dog’s impulses, spontaneous sprints, tug games, and bursts of laughter (mine… Chanel doesn’t laugh). Inspired by the principle of hormesis — the idea that measured doses of stress make us stronger — Sprintugwalk blends intensity and gentleness, effort and release. Here, your body leads, play fuels you, and nature becomes your gym. More than exercise — it’s a philosophy of movement. Play. Feel. Embody life. You can join us in the fun even if you don’t have a dog ! 🐾🖤
