This is one of my personal favorite paintings I've done. It's actually on display at a gallery right now (🙌). I was really able to capture the soul of the Sonoran Desert. My home. There is something about the way the desert looks as the sun is going down that is just magical. As a painter, I see the world differently. I see things in terms of light and shadow, warmth and coolness (as in: warm and cool colors), and interesting shapes. It doesn't really matter what the actual thing is. It could be a tree. It could be a dumpster in an alley. It could be anything. Our brains are wired to name and identify things and sort them into categories of known and unknown, safe and not safe. Seeing the world as an artist has helped me to make those categories more fuzzy and see that the world around me is just one Whole expressing itself as many parts.

Says Rey. Anyone was, is, a victim of anything? How did you come over to be a victim and became a winner? What makes us to victims? What about low self esteem?

Personally I was struggling with confidence I new something had to change cuz i wasn't happy about myself and was searching for tutorials on youtube and found "julien himself", watched many of his videos and started to question my self, got the awareness and and started to realise that all this suffering is from how I perceive or judge the world then suddenly all my instagram reels became about self improvement and I found rey and the video was about "the secret to never worry again" and the advice resonated with me so bad that I started watching his contents on youtube and ended up here to the journey of enlightenment.
