They honked at me for four blocks
This isn't about road rage - it's about why you need to take the mic.
On the way to taking my daughter to school, I merged into a lane to avoid running off the road.
I must have offended not only the driver behind me, but their dog, their cow, and their ancestors.
At least that's what it seemed like as I listened to the blair of their horn for the next five minutes.
My response wasn't anger - it was a question -
What makes people so easily offended?
Here's the answer that I came up with -
They haven't been trained - by YOU.
Your message helps people be better people.
Better husbands, better wives, better teens, better sons and daughters, better community members, better friends, better co-workers.
So post that video. Start that podcast. Do whatever it takes because the battle for the minds and hearts of humanity is RAGING. And there are casualties.
Because your message might just save your kid's life on the freeway.
