What makes a speech worth paying for?
When you get paid to speak, it's either through a speaker fee, or through your CTA. (Your personal CTA is way more profitable btw) So what makes a speech worth paying for? Let's break it down: 1> Taking a speaker fee. When you get paid a speaker fee, it's because the event gets something out of you being there. You might be a headliner that draws a crowd. You might be the best at the CTA (call to action) You might have revolutionary material that WOW's the audience. 2> Your Personal CTA When your keynote includes a CTA into your programs, this is where the real "get paid to speak" money is, especially in the beginning. There are of course right ways to do this, and wrong ways. But I'll tell you this - being paid for a speech will require you to have a speech worth paying for. A speech worth paying for has been honed in, practiced and delivered ALREADY before you get paid to deliver it, no matter who's paying.

Webinars can be... - FREE to host - Sell a product - Go on replay through emails/ads You don't need a lot of fancy equipment, or software to start. Here's what you will need: 1. A webcam 2. A good microphone 3. An understanding of what you'll be teaching 4. A solid Call to Action (CTA) 5. An Audience Let me ask this - which one of these 5 things feels the hardest?

This is a challenge I offered to my live speaking students, but only TWO people took me up on it. Why should you do this? If you're at ALL "camera shy" (Repetition creates confidence) If you want to speak more (you have to speak more) If you want get seen (no one can buy from you if they don't know who you are) This does NOT create clients - so why should you do it? When people are thinking of buying from you, they research you. When people are thinking of booking you on stage, they research you. This content answers the internal question: "Do they know what they're talking about and am I going to end up happy I picked them?" Watch what happens. Or don't - up to you :)
