Going to the beach weekly has changed how I relate to nature. I have used her in the past going out to purple flower to let the stress leave me. But now I don’t go outside to just “clear my head”—I go to let the tide hold it for a while.
When I feel off, I walk barefoot on the sand.
I take a breath
I let the sun shine on my face
I feel the wind's warm embrace
I let the salt air unclench my jaw.
I listen to the waves like they’re old friends who don’t need me to explain.
This isn’t a wellness trick .
It's a ritual of return.
Nature doesn’t fix me. She reminds me I’m part of her.
What’s your nature ritual?
