don't ever shrink yourself small! 🤗

for years i locked away my weirdness, kept it hidden, only revealed it to a select handful of people, those i felt closest and comfortable with, those who'd never judge me...

it's exhausting living as somebody you're truly not, the world feels heavy, there's a burden on your shoulders...

you find yourself shrinking in order to *fit in*...fit in with society's expectations of how life should look - do this, do that, be this, be that, say this, say that, dress like this, act like this blah blah blahhhh 🙄😒🤨

but it's all FAKE!! it just causes stress, anxiety, depression and a whole other multitude of problems which are just *solved* by popping pills or having hours upon hours of therapy - nothing is actually *solved*, it's just masking over the problem - the root cause needs to be found!

i was riddled with the above (and more!) for years and years and i was stuck, trapped, i was a prisoner of my own entire being, darkness was consuming me 24/7, i couldn't see a way out...

until the light began to seep through the deep cracks...

and life began to flip on its head - more light seeped through, flooding the darkness and the root causes were beginning to be found and solved...

but it takes times!!

it's no quick and easy fix! you have to be wanting the help, you have to be really ready and willing to commit to it fully because it can be a rollercoaster of a ride but one that has a beautiful destination 🙏🏻✨️

i am now fully embracing my weirdness, my banter, my silliness, my wildness, everything about me that i *believed* to be *too much* is now my superpower and i'm LOVING it! and what's more, the so called *labels* are not to be seen! 😎

so, be YOU! that's all you should do because you are beYOUtiful just the way YOU are so never shrink yourself just to fit into a fake society 🦋
