Counting Breaths (Mojo Monday Challenge 15)
What does relaxation in chaos look like?
What does non-reactivity look like?
The source to these questions likes in your breath.
The deeper and slower the breath, the more you can easily remain equanimous, without body tension sending distress signals to your brain.
MOJO MONDAY CHALLENGE 15:
  1. Practice a few super slow intestinals. (Don't know how? Learn here at 15:18)
2. Inhale slowly while pulsing your lower abdomen/Dahnjon (DJ) doing intestinals 4x, hold your breath 4 counts while pulsing your DJ, 4 counts exhale while pulsing the DJ, and hold the breath 4 counts pulsing the DJ.
3. Observe which part of the breath is hardest or most tense for you. The inhale, exhale, or holding at the top or bottom?
4. COMMENT BELOW: Which part of the breath was hardest for you. Play with "the shape of your breath" the remaining week doing the same exercise above, but mixing up the counts.
For example, Inhale 3 counts pulsing the DJ, holding 5 counts pulsing the DJ, exhaling 7 counts, and holding 1 second after the exhale. Discover the shape of your breath.
Can't wait to hear from your weekly wins what opens up from this exercise!
