Grey wool or chambray linen suit?

I have always loved my light grey suit, however I bought it three years ago and it's starting to wear and it doesn't really fit me any more. So I have decided to buy a new one in Shanghai. Suits are so cheap here I can literally buy one a week, but I have decided to restrict myself to one every two months. So I have had it in my head that I will go to the tailors tomorrow and buy a light grey wool suit. HOWEVER I was looking at suits on instagram, at one of the tailor shops in Bangkok that I have been to and I saw a picture of a really cool grey chambray linen suit. I will add below a photo of me in my original grey suit which was taken about three years ago and a few images of the chambray suit, off instagram. The photos are not the best but you get the idea. Both of the images of the chambray suit are the same colour, which is grey. I think I am looking for everyone's opinion on linen suits. As I can't remember ever actually seeing one in real life. Does anyone here own one? What's your opinion of a chambray linen suit? I understand it wrinkles and it's more casual but that's fine. Your vote and any feedback is appreciated, thanks.
