I was fast asleep when my wife suddenly screamed, jolting me awake. I leapt out of bed in total confusion, convinced we were under attack by intruders. Then she shouted, “Spider!” Still shaken and half in shock, I grabbed my shoe and struck it with such force it practically fused with the floor. I told her, “It’s dead.” She looked at me and said, “Kill it again.” A man, a gentleman may be a powerful being… but even I don’t possess the power to kill something twice. Kill it until its is dead.🤣

I want to invite all of our members to the Society Lounge Live today March 22, 2026. We have set the time of the actual live lounge video to last three hours and we will start on time so we can respect those who have other engagements and obligations, but members are welcome to stay in the lounge afterwards. This to so members are not waiting extended periods of time for everyone to arrive. Last week we had some great discussions on “The Fall of the gentleman” This coming week we will discuss “The gentleman in the workplace.” How can being a gentleman in the workplace be beneficial?, How being a gentleman in the workplace be difficult? How does a gentleman handle confrontation in the workplace?, and How are you projecting being a gentleman in your workplace? We will also discuss how yo can improve on being a gentleman in your workplace. If you have never been to the Society Lounge, I encourage you to come and bring your favorite drink, your favorite smokes, favorite snacks or appetizer, and your experiences. Plus, this is the perfect time to meet some of the members. Message other members and invite and remind them to join us this Sunday I am looking forward to meeting all of you, enjoy a drink and a smoke see discuss these topics. A couple months ago the Society reminded me of my obligations as a gentleman when a buddy had to deal with the death of his mother. I thank the Members for helping me deal with that dilemma. Tom died yesterday. 87 years old and married to the same lady for 67 years! Seemed happy. Tom died 2 hours after his wife died yesterday. Sounds like a very committed relationship.
