🌟 Meet the Builder: Christy Keeter
What if building an income didn't have to cost you your presence?
Christy is a former teacher, digital entrepreneur, mentor, and founder of Building Digitally.
She teaches everyday people practical digital skills.
She helps entrepreneurs bring the scattered pieces of their businesses together.
And through Presence Over Paycheck, she's building around a belief that runs much deeper than business:
The moments that matter shouldn't always have to come second to making a living.
When I asked Christy what change she hopes to create, she told me:
“I want to help people realize they have options beyond trading their presence for a paycheck.”
She wants people who feel overwhelmed, scattered, or unsure to discover that they can learn the skills to create something of their own.
Something that gives them more choices.
Something that honors their faith and family.
Something that allows them to be present for moments they can never get back. 💛
I've had a different view of Christy's journey than I've had with some of our other Headliners.
I've gotten to watch it up close.
I've watched her build something and rethink it.
Try something and learn from it.
Ask questions.
Make videos.
Change direction when something no longer felt right.
And somewhere in all of those conversations, Christy became much more than another community builder I knew on Skool.
She became my friend. 💛
And one of the things I treasure most about Christy is how often she notices someone else.
She celebrates their win. She checks on them.
She helps when they're struggling.
She makes sure someone gets welcomed.
She reminds them they can do this.
Sometimes she is cheering for someone else's first member while she's right in the middle of building her own next thing.
That tells me a lot about the kind of community builder she is.
Christy also said something when I invited her to be today's Meet the Builder that stayed with me:
“Thank you for seeing me.”
Christy, we do see you.
We see the work you're building.
But we also see the woman behind it.
The teacher who still teaches.
The friend who shows up.
The person willing to keep learning and changing.
And the woman trying to build a business that makes room for the life she doesn't want people to miss.
That's why we're so happy to celebrate Christy Keeter as our newest Headliner. 🌟
