Donna rewrote the Skoolology About page, and it is ranking better than anything we've put there before. She built it with a new framework she has been developing for about pages. I had nothing to do with it, which may explain a lot. So the framework now has a working name: Todd You So. (Say it out loud. It sounds like "told you so," which is what Donna gets to say to me now.) Two things to keep in mind: 1. Rankings are an early signal. The real verdict comes when we see long-term conversion percentages. 2. Not every framework, or even every template, works for every community. What fits ours may not fit yours. We'd like your take. Congratulations to @Donna Thornton! She rewrote our About page and created a new community image, and now we appear in the number 1 position in Skool Discovery when people search for "Skool growth." We all know she doesn't like to talk about her own success, so I'm doing it for her. P.S. I usually get a very serious look from her afterward. :) Also, Skool started showing Skoolology in its Meta ads this morning. Coincidence? I'll share my thoughts on why later. Remember the new very important rule: once one person clicks your ad and pays to join, Skool moves your community up to Growth Boost level 2, where Skool creates about 10 different custom ads for you, as long as you meet all of Skool's other requirements.

Community builders have access to more ideas, strategies, frameworks, and experience than ever. And honestly, a lot of it is really good. But two smart, experienced people can suggest very different approaches…and both can make sense. Different communities. Different people. Different goals. Different stages of the build. So I’ve been wondering... 👉 When you come across an idea or piece of advice that sounds good, how do you decide whether it makes sense to try in YOUR community? What moves you from “That’s a good idea.” to “That’s worth testing in my build.” Maybe it fits something you’re already noticing. Maybe you’ve seen it work somewhere similar. Maybe there’s evidence behind it. Maybe someone understands your particular situation. Or maybe you decide in a completely different way. 🔬 That’s what I’m curious about this week: How do we decide when good advice fits our particular build? I have some ideas about where this could take us, but I’m keeping those to myself for now. 😂 I want to hear how YOU decide first.
