Writing my first auction post - using bid close delay??

Finally got my TV to work as an extra screen, so when I'm not in the office I have both to work from.

My partner thinks we'll be good to do $10k, I think we'll break $20-30k when it's all said and done. Dead group ten days ago to auction today with some decent engagement in the group now 🥳

The question I have is..

I know we're waiting to call the close time, but has anyone done the closign time announcement and the done something like

'we're closing the bid at 1p, or 2 minutes after the last bid

so if somebody bids at 1:00:00, we'll wait until 1:02:00 for the closing bell'

That way if people snipe, the bid can keep climbing, and we're not cutting ourself out of an additional last minute couple grand jump in bidding if it happens that way.
