and I spent a couple hours shooting the shit on Zoom yesterday.
Almost everything with this dude comes down to 2 simple sentences responsible for him doing things like...
profitably getting 47,000 leads in 10 days from content that's 7 years old.
The dude has generated $100 million worth of leads and multiples of that in sales.
He whispered the 2 magic sentences to me a few times before when we've talked...
but this time they landed differently for me...
because he told me this is EXACTLY what I'm doing with getting partnerships.
The problem is...
it used to be TOO SIMPLE for me.
I needed fancy shit that I figured out myself.
Now that I'm gettin a little smarter...
I'm using a spoon to eat ice cream instead trying to impress people by eating it with a pitchfork...
I see more of the magic of his sentences.

SPEEGLE'S MAGIC SENTENCE 1 - Test until it works.
Testing means we need to do something.
Thinking about shit and deciding that it won't work because our situation is so unique is NOT testing.
Gathering opinions from other people who aren't doing shit is NOT testing.
Jumping to another guru with a smarter system is NOT testing.
Here's my simplest example from my experience partner wrangling.
There are 2 things I started testing.
1 - WARM OUTREACH with Sago's "with your permission" framework
2 - TAPPING WHEN GHOSTED using Sago's "sales saver" framework
That's it.
I had to SEND MESSAGES to people I *might* want to partner with. I wasn't proposing marriage and kids.
And I had to TAP THEM when they ghosted or forgot about me. Busy people get distracted and have too many people reaching out them already. If we don't have a strategy to handle this, we ain't getting coffee dates.
I can't imagine any Ronin couldn't test these and start dialing them in for themselves in less than 2 weeks.
2 weeks max to "partner gettin mojo" that no one can ever take away from you.
I would say 99.43% of the frustrations in my life were because I DELAYED testing.
I fucked around instead of "testing until it works".

This is what I'm doing with cold email because I figured out how to make warm outreach work first.
I need something that ALREADY works for me...
before I can even think about scaling.
If I don't have something that ALREADY works, what the fuck am I gonna scale?
The lies I'm telling myself about how great an idea is that I've NEVER implemented?
How the fuck does that work, Jim?

Back to getting coffee dates
I'm getting 1 or 2 a week with highly qualified people who respond to my cold emails.
I've figured out what gets some of them to respond on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd email I send them.
And I've figured out how to respond based on what they ask me or tell me.
I'm not smart enough to do this in the corner of mental masturbation. I've tried.
And you know what?
Speegle told me the next step he sees to scale what's working for me with cold email.
WITHOUT websites and fancy funnels, or webinars, or fantastic copywriting, or amazing branding, or any of the other bullshit the world has told us we need.
If I didn't have stuff ALREADY WORKING and I asked him about scaling, he probably would have told me to fuck off because I hadn't "tested until it works".

BOTTOM LINE FOR JIM
I'm asking myself 2 questions
QUESTION 1 - What am I testing?
This is only done through action. It must give some sort of results that tell me how it's working and what to adjust.
I don't care about or even want "better" opinions. I want the fucking data.
QUESTION 2 - What am I trying to scale?
Am I "scaling" shit I haven't tested? If so, I'm lying to myself.
Am I "scaling" extra shit other than the absolute basics of what works? If it's too complicated, I'll never know what's working and what isn't... aka it AIN'T scalable.

Those simple instructions with "with your permission" and "sales saver" took partner getting for me from IMPOSSIBLE to so fucking EASY I can't believe it some days.
Other than that, no big deal. 🤣
