Kat with 9 Lives - Here for the Bonus Ronin Round

So, I’ve been lurking in Ronin for a few months, but it’s about time I crawled out of my hibernation cave and said hello.

I’ve had my fair share of career lives , plus lived in four different countries. Sometimes it feels like I’ve lived nine lives already, just with fewer whiskers and more Wi-Fi.

For the last few years, I’ve been recruiting/headhunting, mostly in tech. The last three years doing it freelance-style. At first, it felt amazing - no office hours, no fixed salary allowing me to grow my income and hopping from one timezone to another embracing the digital nomad life. But after a while, I found myself waking up at 4 a.m. for client calls, and the “freedom” started feeling more like freelance handcuffs.

So, I decided to shake things up and embark on a journey of self-reinvention. In July 2023, I stumbled across Travis’ Set for Life in 6 Months. While I wasn’t quite ready at the time, by early 2024 I found myself here in Ronin, after catching one of his Zoom recordings.

Now, I have zero prior marketing experience. At first, it felt like being thrown into the deep end of a pool labeled “Overwhelm,” but little by little, things are clicking. I've been diving into the content, and it’s almost shocking how simple things become once you stop sabotaging yourself.

So here I am, ready to make this bonus round of life one heck of an adventure, and I’m excited to learn, grow, and collaborate the Ronin way!
