How would you monetize a 100K-member Houston jobs group?

Someone reached out wanting me to run an auction inside a Houston-based jobs group with over 100,000 members.

Most posts are either “I need a job in Houston” or “We’re hiring.”

I’m guessing he’s already monetizing by pinning posts for a fee… but he wouldn’t say.

Wouldn’t jump on Zoom. Stays anonymous. No relationship with his people.

So I passed.

But now I’m wondering…

Is there an angle I missed?

It’s a hyper-specific niche. And jobs = money.
